One of my favorite aspects in the history of animation is the story of how Pixar came to be.

In 1974 Alexander Schure came up with the idea of Pixar.

Prior to Schure creating/being the founder of Pixar, he was the owner of the New York Institute of
Technology’s.

Pixar first started as a part of Lucas Film until they became a spin-off corporation in 1986 with the help of Steve Jobs.

One of Pixar’s first experiments of animation was one with a lamp that they personified that later became a part of their logo.

With little experience, they later produced a short called tin toy (1988) which caught the attention of lost of people around the world with an Academy Award for best short film.

With the attention caught, Disney contacted Pixar about a full movie.

The movie later came to be Toy Story, released in 1995, known by everyone around.

They had to overcome a lot of challenges to be able to produce this movie and even had to re-do the whole script of the movie by a certain deadline.

When the movie was released, it was a hit. Toy Story blew up and gained lots of popularity.

Everyone was raving about Pixar now because of their huge success and great work.

In just a few years after the success of Toy Story; in 1998, Pixar released A Bugs Life which was very successful as well.

This all started the rise of “fame” for Pixar as a company. This fueled them to continue to produce full-length films and is why we still hear of them today.

Pixar helped spark a great advancement in today’s animation and is part of the reason as to why we have the great animated films today.

Without Pixar and Steve Jobs, we could potentially not see such high tech animation as we see in today’s time.
